Bought a tray of strawberries fresh from the market today. Those little buggers of mine ate seven of the 12 punnets between when I left work and when we got home an hour later – jeez they can eat! When I arrived at the park, where Tracey had cooked a sausage sizzle dinner, they were playing on the equipment and in the skate bowl. Spotting the strawberries in my arms they attacked like seagulls at the beach. I managed to ferret away four punnets for my jam but it nearly cost me a finger.
