We limit showers to four minutes for two very good reasons. Firstly, if everyone has a twenty minute shower we’ll be paying excess water charges on our rates and we can’t afford to toss good money away. Secondly, if everyone has a twenty minute shower it will take a couple of hours in the morning just to get us clean.
The big kids always try it on – “the timer is broken” (funny how it works just fine when we’re showering guys) – so we’re always turning the hot water on in the kitchen sink 😀
They don’t take long to rinse themselves off after that.
