Parents need to present a united front to their children or confusion will abound. If both parents are on the same page kids know where they stand. Nothing confuses a child more than one parent saying they can’t get out of bed when the other parent is letting them come and go as they please.
Not to mention it’s hell frustrating for both parents as well.
