CJ has asked me to either sing or give the eulogy at his funeral. I’ve opted for the eulogy, as I don’t think I could get through a song. Why I think I’ll have more luck talking, I don’t know.
Anyway, it’s a privilege I intend to perform to the best of my ability. It will be an honour to tell people why he’s been my best friend for 25 years and why I think his time on this earth was so very special.
Today, CJ and I spent five hours playing two handed 500 and talking about old times. Bugger me, we had some fun.
It’s been a good week, but it’s hard to watch CJ slipping away.
