Master19 with his old dance partner |
For two wonderful nights I have my little family together again. Master19 arrived by train on Friday night and together we drove to Bris-Vegas last night to pick Miss16 up from the airport, home from visiting her mum in Perth for a week.
As a result, this weekend was loud. Very, very loud. And special, of course.
We did the usual things, made some nice meals and chatted heaps. We also went to the park for some fun and even watched a documentary, Six Degrees of Separation, which I wanted to show the bigger kids because of it’s fascinating insight into sexually transmitted diseases, among other things. What can I say, I’m a parent!
Ended the weekend at a birthday party in Dagun for the eldest daughter of a dear friend. Tess hired the Dagun Train Station for the event, meaning we had toilets, bbq, tables, chairs, parking and great atmosphere. Kids managed to catch up with some friends and I got to drink beer 🙂
