We were cutting it thin again this morning because I keep forgetting I can’t stand at the coffee machine knocking back shots and expect the kids to remember how to get ready for school.
Is it just me, or do other husbands try to sneak things past their wives?
Does it count as educational if you teach your kids to use swear words in context and as adjectives, nouns, verbs and adverbs? Because if so, I aced it.

Any romantic notions I held about becoming a teacher quickly faded once I started helping my own kids with homework.

There is a stark contrast between my kids’ home dining experience and how I recall mine.
I don’t know if this is an isolated thing or everyone experiences it, but we have identified and named a phenomenon which occurs when we have to clean house.
The kids loved watching Caitlyn Shadbolt sing and voting for her. And telling everyone who’d listen how she was family. Albeit distant.
Dumb questions from Dad aren’t rarities, but he knew they were usually leading somewhere.
