There’s Been a Cover Up
byI’m feeling a little unappreciated at the moment.
The blog posts which probably mean more to us than you. Our day to day stuff which, one day, our kids will look back on and laugh at. Or use in court. Or talk about with their psychiatrists.
I’m feeling a little unappreciated at the moment.
“Oh, FFS!” I said, stopping the car as I backed out of the driveway. In case there’s any doubt, I extrapolated that acronym right the hell out.
I readily agreed to Master14 practising his home economics dish thinking, incorrectly it turned out, it’d be nice to enjoy a stress free night of someone else cooking for the family.
My parents’ move to Lutwyche has gone well. For them. I’m exhausted and my brother is still running around like an ER nurse but…
“Did Grace show you her hands?” Tracey asked me as she into the kitchen from the car. “Oh,” I said. As in Uh-oh.
I may not be able to run like I used to, but jeez I can still move when I need to.
Sometimes your kids give you a glimpse of what life might have in store for them. It’s horrifying, isn’t it?
Well, this was unexpected. Unexpected, unwanted, unnecessary and completely unbelievable. All of the un words. Right up until the truth was uncovered.
“You did not,” Tracey gaped at me. “Are you really that much of an idiot?”
I don’t know why she insists on asking me questions she already knows the answer to.
Okay, I think enough time has passed I can probably tell this story without naming names or pointing fingers.
Thought I’d dispense with the awkward bit in the title.
As regular readers will know, I am loath to get involved in anything controversial. BAHAHAHAHA! Just kidding.
Only one slight issue this Christmas.
A squeal of delight had me ducking into our bedroom yesterday, eager to see if I could be included.
I let Tracey choose the photo for this post as a birthday treat. Big mistake it turns out.
