Is Sex Education Supposed To Be a Homeschooling Subject?
byMaybe I’m doing it wrong.
The blog posts which probably mean more to us than you. Our day to day stuff which, one day, our kids will look back on and laugh at. Or use in court. Or talk about with their psychiatrists.
Maybe I’m doing it wrong.
I lost a fight with my son today, and I’m so damn proud.
“What’s a merkin?” asked Miss13, joining in a conversation I would later claim to have totally had under control.
We fail, again, to make a good first impression…
Now I’m the first to admit I own the ‘have a daddy look’ cliche: I can’t see the butter if it’s hiding at the front of the fridge under the cheese slices.
Home-schooling is going so well some days it feels like we’re starring in our own Idiocracy film.
Thank you to Westpac for supporting our family and sponsoring this post. On that, have you heard about the deal Westpac has brokered where they’re footing the bill for parents ($99) to enrol their kids in the Mathspace Essentials numeracy program? I love whales. They remind me of Tracey.
Money has become a problem for me this week.
So tonight I thought I might share a couple of things we’ve discovered so far. There are a heap of links in this post, but nothing’s sponsored here and we’re not receiving any kickbacks. This is just what we’ve found which we thought might be useful or interesting or just because my fingers decided you needed to know.
To keep them amused on long car trips Tracey came up with a heap of activities for the kids, including what I suspect, perhaps worryingly, will become their number one go-to on our big lap.
It’s been suggested by a couple of people I looked a bit nervous on camera today. I was, but not for the reason you’d think…
We were supposed to be out and about on Sydney’s brilliant public transport system looking at all the stuff we missed last time we were here, but instead we’ve spent two days stuck in the caravan park.
And then we were off, with the kids screaming and moaning their encouragements.
