One of the best purchases we’ve made in recent years was a second freezer. This has allowed us to buy bulk meats and bread, and even frozen meals for my lunches (for when I’m sick of sandwiches). You can’t buy a side of beef if you’ve only a shoebox size freezer above your fridge to keep it in. The savings far outweigh the cost of running the whitegood and quickly recoups the original cost of the item itself.
