“I love these!” Miss4 said while we were making them with Grandma.
“No, you don’t,” I assured her.
Not that she’ll ever know one way to the other – these aren’t for the kids. At least, not our kids. These biscuits are for us.
Or at least that was the plan.
These are the sort of biscuits which make you wonder why Arnotts and all the other biscuit companies are wasting their time on things like Arrowroots. They are divine.
You will need:
Butter, 125g, softened
Brown sugar, 165g
Vanilla Essence, 1 teaspoon
Plain flour, 1 cup
Self raising flour, 1 cup
White chocolate, 200g, roughly chopped
Macadamia nuts, 100g, roughly chopped
STEP ONE: Preheat oven to 175 degrees.
STEP TWO: Mix butter and brown sugar and vanilla essence with a mixer. When thoroughly mixed beat in the egg.
STEP THREE: Fold in the plain and self raising flours, followed by white chocolate and macadamias.
STEP FOUR: Roll into balls an inch and a half thick and flatten them onto a tray lined with baking paper.
STEP FIVE: Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
STEP SIX: Place on a rack for five minutes before hiding in a container at back of cupboard.
Please share with your friends 🙂
